Not in Samudaia
Worth saying plainly, so you do not find out in week two:
- Spatial audio. No distance-based volume falloff. Audio is per-room.
- Open-floor conversations. You talk in rooms, not by standing next to someone on the map.
- Large events. Rooms are sized for working conversations, not 200-person all-hands.
- Guests from outside the workspace. Conversations are for members of your workspace.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to install an app?
- No. Samudaia runs in the browser on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Video and audio use WebRTC through LiveKit, so a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari is all you need.
- Can I have more than one workspace?
- Yes. One account can belong to several workspaces, which is useful if you work with more than one team or client.
- Can I control what other members can do?
- Yes. Workspaces have roles and per-role permissions, so you decide who can invite people, manage rooms and change workspace settings.
- Does Samudaia have spatial audio?
- Not today. Audio is per-room: you hear everyone in the room you are in, and nobody when you are on the open map. There is no distance-based volume falloff.
